No car, no noise, no stress. Guests reach the vigilius mountain resort via a short cable car ride, because no road leads up to 1,500 metres. Here, the 5-star hotel becomes one with nature and offers a place full of power, where nature is in harmony with itself. High up on the Vigiljoch, nature invites you to explore. Right outside the doors of the vigilius, a hiker's paradise opens up with extensive trails for every taste. From relaxed walking and hiking tours to hotel-guided hikes and challenging tours to the 2,607-metre-high Hochwart in Naturno, everything is here.

The vigilius mountain resort has had sustainability in mind from the very beginning. It should become a refuge where nature - and not man as creator - is realised. Wood and large-scale glass are the building elements of this first Klimahaus-A hotel in Italy, in which the outside and the inside successfully flow into each other. A pleasant symbiosis of modern design and comfort. This sustainability also continues in the details: clay walls, fabrics made of natural materials, economical use of water and paper. The cuisine of the "Restaurant 1500" also uses mainly local products from the immediate vicinity, preferably from organic farming.

From superior rooms to suites - here tradition and modernity merge in space. Guests are offered spacious comfort at the highest level with a magnificent view of the surrounding landscape. The vigilius mountain resort deliberately dispenses with televisions in the rooms and suites. Here you lie as if in the middle of nature, with only large glass fronts to protect you from the vagaries of the mountain weather.

An oasis of well-being is offered to guests in the spa area of the wellness hotel. At the endless pool, the boundary between indoors and outdoors blurs: an enchanting illusion in which the nearby larches and distant Dolomites seem to flow into the water through the large-scale panoramic glass. Directly adjacent to the endless pool is the whirlpool, pleasantly body-warm, bubbling water in a spacious basin that extends outdoors into a small larch grove via a glass door. The sunbathing area also promises peace and relaxation, and on warm days the sunny terrace and the lush meadows in front of the spa area entice you to sunbathe. The saunas are located in the screened-off area: the Finnish sauna with a temperature of up to 80 °C and the steam bath. Right next to them, apples from South Tyrol, carafes with fresh, mineral spring water from the Vigiljoch and a varied selection of teas are invitingly ready. You can also unwind with various treatments that use only skin care lines with high-quality treasures from nature.

Even if you can't drive your car all the way up to the vigilius, it's well taken care of: hotel guests can leave it in the hotel's own garage or in the cable car car park at no extra charge.
